Te Rakou

for the past few weeks we have been doing a maori thing called Te Rakou,its a type of exercise maori use to help them when catching weapons,they usually all gather young warriors into a circle and play along to a tune and then its a matter of who is still playing the longest.

 hello everyone I hope you're all doing ok having fun today I feeded the birds some pikelets they were gone in seconds we watch a movie and had popcorn  and I was making my mums  birthday present and that's me for today I still have the rest of the day to come but that's it for now have a good day

 Today we made a robot on google draw and then prented it out and thin put angles on it and this is mine it was a fun thing to do and i liked it.

 So today we did a egg drop and we lost but it was still fun and it was funny to what other ones fail to.

 This is what I have done this for the past 2 days and i have done a before and after.Chimpanzees are enormously strong, estimated to be around four times stronger than a human of a similar size. They can reach speeds of 25mph (40kph) when running, and that's not even what they're built for.

For numeracy today, we have started to learn about angles.  

We learnt about 3 different angles today - acute (less than 90°), right angle (90°), and obtuse (larger than 90° but smaller than 180°).  We also learnt how to use a protractor to measure angles.  We know that we need to measure an angle from a vertice (a corner where two straight lines meet).

For our create task, we had to measure three different angles on the first letter of our name - can you  figure out if they are acute, right angle or obtuse?

 

Gallipoli war letter to my wife

Hi guys today I will be showing you my Gallipoli war letter to my wife. 

I am a soldier fighting in World War 1 telling my wife all about what is happening, how are our children, how is the family and more things like that. How is she filling her days. How I don't like it at Anzac cove and I want to be with her. How I miss all of her cooking, all of her yummy food.

my wether mori scratch

we have been lerning about the wether in mori and this is my scartch

my cool isabel story

 or literacy we have been reading Refugee by Alan Gratz.   We looked at the main character, and picked 3 words to describe them.  I picked Isabel

For our create task, we had to use Storyboard that, and pick one of our describing words to storyboard.  We needed to think about what happened just before that scene, and just after and how we could show emotion in our characters face.

I decided to do who wen she waked thru the door and saw her mum and dad and granddad fighting.   I showed this through wen she came in and was confused and then saw them fighting.
